Full Circle Farm was a proposal submission for Chicago’s Chapter of Architecture for Humanity Street Furniture Competition. This urban furniture captures rain water with the umbrella, which also functions as a shading device. The planter’s soil is held above the water reservoir. This unit can be placed in city vacant lots and/ or parks.
This was produced for Trish VanderBeke. I assisted in generating the drawings (plan, section, detail), the 3d rendering collage and poster layout. I modeled with Rhino and rendered with Maxwell.
We placed as Finalist and were published in Chicago Architect Magazine.
